I am pleased to announce that both our programs at Mica Mountain and Cienega have just been awarded 4 Stars from First Things First Quality First, which is a program of Arizona’s early childhood agency designed to improve the quality of early learning for children from birth to age five by supporting child care and preschool providers.
Vail Inclusive Preschool serves a total of 347 students ages 2-5 at our two locations with a population of 64% special education students. Both campuses went through the Quality First assessment, which measures a preschool program’s caliber of standards and how students are learning and developing. Mica Mountain VIP proudly maintained their 4-Star rating in February and Cienega VIP just recently received their 4-Star rating again. I am so proud that the incredibly dedicated and talented staff at VIP are recognized by this agency for their high-level care and education that they are committed to providing to the students and families we serve at VIP.
