Special Needs

Evaluations and screenings are available to Vail School District resident families with children preschool aged, 3 to 5 years old. This service is for concerns in areas of speech & language, cognitive, adaptive, personal-social, and physical development.

Parents who have concerns about their child’s progress should contact our Evaluation Secretary at 520-879-1777 to schedule an appointment. If a child is deemed eligible for special services, an Individual Education Plan (IEP) with written goals and objectives will be developed by a team of specialists, including parents.
